Welcome to our Feline Resident Gallery!  We have an amazing collection of ages, shapes, sizes and personalities.  We truly have someone for everyone!  We love our residents more than anything in the world, and our ultimate goal for each and every one of them, is to find them their Forever Home, or at least a wonderful Foster Home.  In each cat's biography, you will find their personal statistics, as well as a real-time accounting of how long they've been at ARC.  

Many of these beautiful cats have been with us for years, for no reason other than they've simply been overlooked!  These cats ALL deserve a chance at a happy and loving home outside of the shelter.  Feel free to consider taking one (or two!) of them home!

Note: Cats marked Medical Hold are usually either on our mandatory 10 day intake quarantine, or undergoing recovery for spay/neuter.  

Cats marked Bio Pending are on site to meet, and just haven't had all of their biographical details updated yet.

Cats marked Adop Pending have recently been adopted, but we wait a couple of weeks before removing their bio to make sure their new home is working out.

FYI:  Our office is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.  If you apply on either of these days, your application will not be seen by our adoption staff until Wednesday at the earliest.  Additionally, adoptive homes are chosen based on who we deem to be the BEST HOME for the animal, and NOT on a first come/first served basis.  We also only adopt to within a 1-2 hour radius from our shelter. Our adoption contract requires that our animals be returned TO US if the adoption doesn’t work for any reason. This is much easier for most people to comply with when they’re relatively local to ARC. Unfortunately, this sometimes causes hard feelings.  We apologize, but please understand that our only goal is to find the absolute best home for our animals.  Thank you.
