How you can help the Animal Refuge Center:
Your help is a critical part of our survival. We operate solely on donations, volunteers and grants- we receive no Federal or State money. Through donations acquired by caring people, ARC has cared for and found homes for thousands of animals over the past 20+ years.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Volunteers play a critical role to keep the animals healthy and happy, in addition to socializing with them and helping them to remain mentally and physically healthy during their stay at the shelter. Volunteers must attend Orientation, followed by training with our Dog Care Staff.
BECOME AN ARC MEMBER
ARC depends on its members! Become a member of the Animal Refuge Center and you’ll receive our newsletter and voting rights at our two general membership meetings. Getting involved is a rewarding experience and sure to bring joy into your life.
ADOPT A PET
If you’re interested in adopting a dog or cat from ARC, THANK YOU! Our residents are always in search of their forever home and would love to come home with you.
ARC is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday, from 11 AM until 4 PM for tours and adoptions.
